East Riding residents reminded to stay safe at the coast

East Riding Coastline

To ensure that residents are able to fully enjoy the spectacular East Riding coast this Easter, the council has issued a reminder about potential safety issues on beaches and cliff tops.

Long stretches of the East Riding’s 85-kilometre coastline may be affected by coastal erosion as a result of natural processes.

Cliff losses linked to coastal erosion can occur at any time of the year and visitors and residents are advised to take care on the beaches and cliff tops. For our full list of safety tips, click the read more link below.

A new digital platform has been created to host a wealth of support, advice and free resources for informal carers in the East Riding who need access to information that is relevant to their situation. The one-stop-shop website will help carers identify sources of support.
