EOBC 2021 COVID-19 UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19 and with the most recent announcement regarding the UK’s National Lockdown, this year’s Paul Roggeman European Open Beach Championship will not be taking place between Friday 26th – Sunday 28th February.
Due to the preparation necessary to deliver an event of this scale it was vital that the planning and booking process started in September 2020. All aspects of this event take hundreds of hours of planning and is not an event that can be delivered last minute, if restrictions had have been lifted for the competition dates.
Our main priority is the health and wellbeing of our visitors, partners, colleagues and the residents of the East Coast of Yorkshire. The EOBC is a hugely popular event which attracts visitors from across the UK and Europe, however, with 60,000 new infections announced today, the Government have taken the decision that leaving home for recreation or leisure, including all forms of recreational fishing, should be prohibited in England during this third national lockdown period.
Please see information below in regards to EOBC ticket refunds.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all in 2022
