As of Thursday 5th November, following the government announcement of a national lock down, South Cliff will be closed to both holiday makers and licensees.
We understand that this has, or will affect many of you and we have been working in conjunction with our public health team to find a way to protect your asset over the winter period.
West Yorkshire customers will now not go into tier 3 on Monday 2 November and can visit the site as normal until Thursday 5th November.
Customers who are in Tier 3 will have the opportunity to access the site for the purpose of winterising their van. South Cliff has had to put strict procedures in place to allow this to happen, however anyone not adhering to these procedures will be refused access.
You will need to make an appointment with South Cliff calling the office on 01262 671051. Appointments are available from 2nd November 2020 to 4th November 2020 and in time slots of a maximum of 3 hours.
Monday 2 November 9am until 12.00noon and from 1.00pm – 4.00pm
Tuesday 3 November 9am until 12.00noon and from 1.00pm – 4.00pm
Wednesday 4 November 9am until 12.00noon.
The park will close at 12noon on Wednesday 4 November.
There will be no extensions to these timeslots and you will need to ensure you leave the park by the stated time. There will be a limited number of slots available each day and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Upon arrival on your selected time and date, you will sign in at Reception, where you will be given a temporary barrier pass. You will also need to track and trace using the NHS Track and Trace app.
As there may be a few licensees there at the same time, we ask that only one person attends the office and that you queue outside in a socially distanced manner until you are called in, at which point you will enter wearing face covering. You will also be required to adhere to the one way system in and out of the office.
Whilst on site you will be required to adhere to the site Covid procedures and also those restrictions of your Tier banding.
You will need to close down your caravan within your allotted time, including draining it down if this is something you do yourselves. If you employ one of the contractors to do the drain down for you, South Cliff’s normal drain down procedures in terms of key release authorisation will need to be followed for this purpose.
Upon leaving, you will be required to sign out and hand back in your barrier pass that you were issued.
No second visit will be permitted. No extended stays or overnight stays will be permitted.
We ask that our licensees adhere to these procedures, as abuse of them will result in this mechanism being withdrawn.
Please do not travel if you are symptomatic. If you develop signs or symptoms whilst on park, you must leave immediately and return to your home address and book a test. You will not be permitted to self-isolate at South Cliff.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding and we hope you all stay safe and well.
Yours sincerely
Justin Davies.
General Manager South Cliff Holiday Park.
