Digital Economy NetworkPlus call deadline fast approaching

The Digital Economy Theme, working in partnership with the Manufacturing the Future Theme, invites applications for new ‘NetworkPlus’ grants. 

The aim of the NetworkPlus is to stimulate development of digital economy research and communities, addressing each of the Digital Economy Theme five priority areas which reflect the theme’s long-term strategic goals.

Please note we can only accept one submission from the lead institution.

Enabling an equitable digital society - funding opportunity

There is still time to apply for Digital Economy Programme Advisory Board (PAB) vacancies

EPSRC are looking to recruit new members of our Strategic Advisory Teams (SAT) to start from 1 January 2022. Applications are sought from industrialists, academics, users of research, and individuals working in the third sector and government organisations.

UKRI funded Innovation Knowledge Centre CSIT working with new Belfast based start-up to strengthen the future of digital security by design

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) recently launched their ‘Digital Security by Design Challenge’, investing in projects that help the UK digital computing infrastructure to become more secure.

The scope of the challenge includes implementing updated hardware architecture, developing the software and system development tools that will run on it, and demonstration in at least two industry sectors.

CSIT (The Centre for Secure Information Technologies) and Pytilia, both based in Belfast, are working in collaboration with Cambridge University and ARM to develop hardware and software solutions to strengthen the UK’s cybersecurity industry.
