 Clean Air Routes now available in Elmbridge
You can now enjoy cleaner, healthier journeys thanks to Clean Air Routes launching in our area.
This free app can help you find walking and cycling routes with the best available air quality.
 Echoes of War exhibition
Launching on 4 February, Elmbridge Museum is partnering with artist Emily Peasgood to create an immersive installation for the heritage project Echoes of War.
The exhibition will share untold stories of local life on the Home Front during WWII, as part of VE and VJ Day commemorations. Through hands-on workshops, creative sessions and a multi-sensory exhibition, it connects generations and celebrates the resilience of our community.
Venue: Elmbridge Civic Centre, High Street, Esher KT10 9SD Date: 4 to 27 February 2026 Opening hours: 9:30am to 4:30pm Free special activity days: Saturday 7 and 21 February, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, offering even more ways to get involved.

 New sand play area at Oatlands in Weybridge opens
We are actively investing in play areas across the borough through a series of refurbishment and enhancement projects aimed at creating inclusive, safe and engaging spaces for children and families.
Our most recent completed project is the new sand pit at Oatlands in Weybridge. Children are already enjoying this exciting space, designed for year-round fun, whatever the weather.

Following the success of our roadshow earlier this year, the Leader and Deputy Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council invite you to the next series of community meetings.

Your voice matters, come along to learn about Elmbridge’s future and share your views. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and join the conversation.

 Polling Districts and Polling Places Review closing soon
We’re carrying out a new Polling Districts and Polling Places Review due to changes following the Local Government Boundary Commission’s review of the Surrey County Council boundaries, and in preparation for the planned creation of two new unitary councils in Surrey.
Now is the chance to have your say on the council’s consultation on Elmbridge polling districts and polling places. Your feedback is important!
Consultation is open until 5pm on Monday 19 January 2026.
