 Sustainability in Elmbridge
With sustainability and environmental responsibility central to our priorities, we are pleased to share some updates:
The Climate Change Citizens’ Panel has submitted its community‑driven recommendations. It is currently being reviewed ahead of Cabinet consideration in the New Year.
We are making low-carbon travel more accessible with EV car chargers at council car parks and Centres for the Community, now with extended hours at the Molesey Centre.
Finally, to boost biodiversity, 219 native trees have been planted across parks and commons, supported by brilliant volunteers at recent community planting events.

The pledge is part of a wider initiative to reduce inequality and create opportunities for everyone in our community. By signing, we will work with partners to deliver practical support and advocate for policies that make a real difference.
