 Elmbridge Museum Remembrance Day 2025 exhibition
You're invited to visit the Museum’s exhibition and discover how it shares local stories from World War I and World War II through interactive outreach sessions and objects from its collection.
Running from Monday 10 November to Friday 28 November, at the Civic Centre in Esher, two display cases on both wars reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who defended freedom while exploring the origins and evolution of Remembrance Day.
 Government announces two new councils for Surrey
Government has announced a significant reorganisation of local government in Surrey. The county’s existing twelve councils will be replaced by two new unitary councils, creating a simpler and more efficient system for delivering all local government services across the county.

Elmbridge invests in water play and play areas for families
Water play is a valued part of summer for families across the borough. Following the success of splashpads at Churchfields and Hersham Recreation Grounds, we are excited to share we're exploring funding opportunities to expand access in Molesey and Cobham.
This investment supports our Sustainable Elmbridge goals, with modern splashpads designed to balance water and energy use responsibly.

We are delighted to support Surrey Downs Health and Care, at their Community Assess and Support Day at Imber Court in East Molesey on Thursday 20 November from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Open to all residents, this event aims to help you live a longer and healthier life while reducing the musculoskeletal physiotherapy and podiatry waiting lists for NHS services.
