Planning application update: Land north and east of Raleigh House
On 22 September 2025, Elmbridge Borough Council published an update on planning application 2025/1386 following changes to national planning guidance. On 17 September, the government updated the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) on flood risk and coastal change.
Elmbridge Borough Council have reviewed the changes and took legal advice. It found that the Planning Committee’s original decision on 16 September to refuse the application may no longer be appropriate. The application will now be reconsidered at the Planning Committee meeting on Tuesday 14 October 2025.
