 Free autumn fun for families - exciting activities this half-term!
We are delighted to bring families a fantastic line-up of free activities this October half-term, including:
- stay and play sessions with seasonal crafts, games and activities
- a spooky cemetery walk with Halloween costumes and crafts
- making bird feeders
 30-minutes free parking - how does it help you?
Residents are encouraged to share their feedback on the 30-minutes free parking offered across several town and village car parks in the borough.
 Elmbridge community noticeboards need you!
Did you know Elmbridge has 29 community noticeboards which charities and community groups can use to promote their events and services? Each of these boards is managed by a local volunteer and we are currently in need of a new recruit in the Weybridge area.
If you live near Weybridge Railway Station and could give a couple of hours of your time every fortnight to update the noticeboard, please contact us at: communications@elmbridge.gov.uk
 Improvements to Walton Road Car Park in East Molesey
From Monday 20 October to Wednesday 22 October 2025, resurfacing works will be carried out at the Walton Road car park. The car park will close during this time.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements are underway and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
 Chewing Gum Task Force funds deep clean in Cobham and Esher High Streets
A grant of just over £9,000 from the Chewing Gum Task Force, administered by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, will help us clean up gum and reduce gum littering across three popular shopping areas next month.
Gum will be removed from both the High Street and Oakdene Parade in Cobham, as well as Esher High Street.
 Climate Change Citizens’ Panel makes progress in shaping local climate action
The Elmbridge Climate Change Citizens’ Panel met for their third session earlier this month. The panel brings together residents, experts and local organisations focused on driving behaviour change towards a more sustainable future.
In this latest session, they addressed the question, 'What steps can we take locally to address climate change and protect the environment?', continuing their work to find practical ways to tackle climate change in Elmbridge
