Join us for Recycle Week 2025: let’s rescue more recyclables together
This week, the 22 to 28 September, marks Recycle Week 2025, the UK’s largest annual recycling campaign. Led by WRAP and Recycle Now, the initiative aims to inspire residents to recycle more everyday items that often get overlooked.
Residents across Elmbridge are encouraged to rescue commonly missed items such as toilet roll tubes, empty aerosols, toothpaste tubes, shampoo bottles, clean foil, yoghurt pots and perfume bottles, all of which can go in regular kerbside collections.

 Damp, condensation and mould
A build-up of moisture in the home can cause a range of problems and can potentially damage the fabric of the building if allowed to continue. If mould starts to grow, this can even affect the health of the occupants.
Have a look at our tips and advice to manage damp, condensation and mould in your home and what your responsibilities are if you are landlord.
Keeping you safe in severe weather
As we enter the season of increasingly unpredictable weather, we encourage all residents to take proactive steps to stay safe and well.
Extreme weather events including storms, flooding and cold spells can cause significant disruption. We urge you to familiarise yourself with guidance available on our website, including how to prepare for power outages, report fallen trees and access emergency support.
