 Elmbridge Cabinet approves Connected Communities transformation
On Monday 14 July, Elmbridge Cabinet approved the Connected Communities transformation, allowing the council to take a significant step forward in supporting more residents across the borough which will help more unpaid carers, more families in poverty, more people in isolation, as well as the older people currently supported.

 Weybridge centre and library hub
Weybridge Library Services will be leaving the Weybridge Centre on 26 July in preparation for their relocation to the new Weybridge Library Hub on 19 August.
Weybridge Community Services will continue to operate from the current building until all arrangements for their move are finalised.
 Two decades of pedals and people: celebrating 20 years of Elmbridge Cycle Rides
Last week we proudly celebrated 20 years of Elmbridge Cycle Rides.
Following the success of the Healthy Walks initiative, Elmbridge Cycle Rides has brought together hundreds of residents over the years through the simple joy of cycling.

There were a wide range of questions asked and due to time constraints, some were not able to be answered on the night. All questions that were submitted will be uploaded to the Frequently Asked Question area of Surrey County Council's website.
 A3 upcoming weekend closures
To help people plan for journeys through the summer, National Highways have released the dates of the upcoming A3 closures from July through to September on their website.
The next closure is scheduled from Friday 18 to Monday 21 July.
