Stay water aware this spring and summer

Spraying in high-risk areas to control oak processionary moth (OPM) spread
With tree leaves now fully emerged and the recent warm weather, we are monitoring cases of oak processionary moth (OPM) caterpillars in the borough and arranging for spraying a biological pesticide that poses no health risks to visitors.
OPM can affect the health of oak trees, people and animals. They feed on oak leaves and large populations can strip trees bare, leaving them weakened and vulnerable to other threats.
