 Local government reorganisation
The Elmbridge Council and Cabinet extraordinary meetings on local government reorganisation will take place on Tuesday 6 May at 5pm and 7pm respectively.

Local elections will not take place in Elmbridge this May due to local government reorganisation.
 Join us on the path to a greener Elmbridge with the Community Climate Action Fund!
The Elmbridge Community Climate Action Fund (ECCAF) supports local groups to make an impact in areas such as carbon reduction education, energy efficiency, water and waste reduction and active travel.
The next round of ECCAF funding is now open with up to £5,000 available per project. Non-profit organisations or groups based in Elmbridge are all welcome to apply before Sunday 22 June.
 Explore Elmbridge Early Settlers at the museum exhibition in partnership with St James C of E school
Elmbridge Museum recently collaborated with students at St James C of E school in Weybridge to explore life in prehistoric Elmbridge and create artwork for the Elmbridge’s Early Settlers exhibition.
You can visit the display to see the students' work at Dittons Library. The exhibition runs until Monday 30 June.
 Enjoy the benefits of walking during National Walking Month
Whether you're a fair-weather walker, enjoy short leisurely strolls, or prefer a more active Nordic walking pace, join us for National Walking Month this May. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, meet new people and get moving!
You can join one of our free local walks organised by the Elmbridge Ramblers. Walks are available for all abilities and take place daily in different parts of the borough.

 Upgrades at Long Ditton recreation ground
We are excited to announce that we are replacing the outdated gym equipment at Long Ditton recreation ground. The gym area will be closed for 4 to 5 weeks while we install new, exciting calisthenics equipment.
Long Ditton recreation ground will also get a new Multi-Use Games Area which will have a range of equipment to accommodate multiple sports and activities.
 Celebrating spring on the commons with our countryside volunteers
Thank you to our amazing team of conservation volunteers who do a fantastic job on our local commons. We are always looking for new members to join our team. If you care about the environment and want to make a difference, why not join our group of countryside volunteers?
