Improvements to George Froude Open Space
Community partners from around Elmbridge gathered at George Froude Open Space in Walton-on-Thames recently to recognise the work undertaken to improve the park’s community impact and safety.
The installation of additional fencing, play equipment, and increased signage has brought a sense of community and reassurance to this much-used green space.

Elmbridge Community Climate Action Fund launch
A new community fund is available for carbon reduction and sustainability improvement projects in Elmbridge. Up to £5,000 is available for community projects that will make a tangible difference in tackling climate change.
Update on Elm Grove
Since the Development Brief for Elm Grove was approved in April, we have been discussing with the local NHS team, Surrey County Council and the onsite tenants their requirements for any future proposals to the site.
Last chance to enter our poster competition
We are inviting budding young artists to help with our Keep Elmbridge Tidy campaign, by inviting them to design a colourful and inspiring poster that will encourage people to pick up litter in our parks and take their litter home when bins are full. The competition closes on 15 July.
