 Day services at Elmbridge Centres to increase from 26 February
We said we would work to increase community services at our Centres for the Community in early spring and we are now pleased to confirm that plan will begin from 26 February.
 Apply for CIL funding to help your community thrive
We're accepting applications for our annual local Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding until Sunday 17 March 2024. Before applying, you can see how much each area committee has in its funding pot. The CIL funding pots are determined by the level of development in each area.
 Elmbridge Cabinet February 2024
On 7 February Elmbridge Cabinet agreed to protect our rivers, invest in Hurst Pool, introduce a discounted car parking permit scheme for lower paid workers and to move forward with a budget that prioritises residents through quality service delivery and a robust Vision for a sustainable and thriving Elmbridge.
 Elmbridge Dementia Services update
Elmbridge Dementia Services are to relocate to the Claygate Centre for the Community. During the coming weeks, we will be undertaking £50,000 in adaptations which will improve Claygate Centre services and also allow Dementia Services to run concurrently, but independently within the building.
 Mayor of Elmbridge flying high to fundraise for local charity
You can sponsor Councillor Richard Williams' skydive or buy tickets for his charity ball, theatre show and golfing event all coming up soon to raise money for Oasis, an Elmbridge charity which supports families in crisis.
 Elmbridge receives funding to encourage clean air in the borough
Elmbridge Borough Council has received funding to encourage clean air in our borough. As well as using the money to enforce clean air rules on Thames Ditton Island we want the whole borough to think twice before burning wood of any kind.
 Annual Public Meeting
You are invited to our Annual Public Meeting on 5 March 2024, from 6pm-8pm at the Civic Centre, Esher High Street.
You will hear from the Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council, Cllr Bruce McDonald, on the progress made during the previous year - year one of the 2030 Vision – as well as hear plans for the year ahead.
