 Proposed PSPO for unauthorised mooring
We know how important our riverside sites are to you, offering great walks and green spaces. With the increased number of visitors, we also have an increased number of unauthorised moorings along the riverbank, and we want to make sure that the riverside spaces can continue to be enjoyed by local people and river users.
We are considering a PSPO to restrict mooring to 24 hours (no return within 72 hours) at Ditton Reach, Albany Reach, Cigarette Island, Cowey Sale, Hurst Park and Surrey County Council’s land adjacent to Hampton Court bridge (Parrs mooring).
To explain more about this potential PSPO, we are inviting you to consult a range of documents on our website. Let us know what you think and whether you do or do not support this PSPO by emailing consult@elmbridge.gov.uk. The survey closes on 29 December.
