At September’s meeting of Elmbridge Cabinet, Councillors will be asked to consider a Water Play Strategy for the borough, appreciating the value placed on water-based play among Elmbridge families and to ensure these facilities are available each summer for years to come.

 Xcel leisure complex to hold taster sessions to celebrate Older Persons Day
To celebrate Older Persons Day, Xcel leisure complex is holding an open morning with taster sessions from 9am to 12pm Thursday 28 September.
The aim of the event is to invite residents to try regular classes at the Xcel centre, walking sports and other forms of exercise to encourage a more active lifestyle. In addition, residents can also learn more about accessing local support to help with a health condition and living more comfortably.
 Second round of Elmbridge Borough Council cost of living fund now open
Earlier this month, Elmbridge Borough Council opened the second round of its cost of living fund, designed to help and enable local partners to support residents who are financially vulnerable due to the rising cost of living.
We have allocated £300,000 to this funding round, bringing the total to £500,000 pledged this year to cost of living projects.
 Love Elmbridge award winners announced for 2023
