The draft Local Plan, which has been strengthened to ensure it is the most robust Plan for the borough, is being presented at the Cabinet meeting tonight and at the Council meeting on 13 June.  

Safe and clean green spaces this summer

We are working hard to keep parks and open spaces safe and clean for everybody to enjoy this summer. 

We are asking residents to do their bit so that everyone can make the most of the local green spaces and enjoy their time outdoors.

Are you passionate about nature conservation? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for countryside volunteers to help with a variety of seasonal practical tasks from September 2022. What is street play?

Street play is an initiative that encourages children to play out freely and safely in their streets. The aim is to encourage children to play independently near their home; contributing to a healthy lifestyle.
