Give your children the royal treatment for the day
As we celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we are inviting you to mark this momentous occasion with free drop-in play sessions at local centres for the community in Cobham, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames and Lower Green, Esher.
While children make paper crowns and Jubilee mementoes to take home, you will be able to indulge in some appetising treats on site.
Brand new illustrated playground opens soon
The new Jubilee Wriggle & Scribble illustrated playground will open on 31 May in Walton-on-Thames, in front of the library.
We are currently working in partnership with A Line Art to develop this new larger than life temporary playground, which has a royal theme, to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Help schools with eco-projects
If you sign up to Greenredeem, you can choose a local school in the borough to receive funding for eco-projects! You only have until the end of May before the winners are announced.
Schools that are part of the programme include:
Grovelands Primary, Ashley C of E Primary, Cardinal Newman Primary, Hurst Park Primary, Long Ditton Infant & Nursery school, St Andrews C of E Primary, Cranmere Primary, Cobham Free School, Walton Oak Primary and Claygate Primary.
Get your NHS COVID Pass letter
Fully vaccinated children aged 5 and over can now get an NHS COVID Pass letter for travel. It can be requested via the NHS website or by calling 119.

Apply for Sports Grant Aid
Sports Grant Aid applications are now open for local sports clubs and individual athletes. Clubs can apply for up to £750 and individuals £350.
