Youth Hub opens to support 18-24 year olds
Together with Brooklands College and Runnymede Borough Council, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new Youth Hub on 1 October 2021, helping young people to find employment and training.
Based at Brooklands College in Weybridge, the Hub will give young people access to free expert advice, along with work experience, mentoring and more.
Will you plant a tree for the Jubilee?
We are supporting the Queen's Green Canopy, a UK-wide tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, by inviting residents, community groups, schools, clubs and local businesses to plant a tree in Elmbridge.
Get involved from October, when the planting season begins, and let us know your plans. This will be a great opportunity to protect and enhance the environment in our borough for generations to come.

Older People's Day on 1 October is a day recognised by the UN as an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions older people make to society. To mark the day, we have free exercise taster sessions taking place.
At the Xcel Leisure Complex, a range of free classes are on offer, as well as swimming sessions, walking football and walking netball. There will be walking rugby at Esher Rugby Club and a wellbeing walk will take place from Thames Path to Molesey Lock.
