The strongest protection is both doses of vaccine
Over 40 million people in the UK have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 27 million people have received both doses – the strongest possible protection.
You are now being urged to come forward for vaccines if you're aged 25 or over, or you turn 25 before 1 July 2021*, to help protect against the threat of new variants. If you're in one of the eligible groups, please join the millions who are helping to protect themselves and others.

Why you should get tested regularly
About 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 don't have symptoms but can still infect others.
You should do a rapid test twice a week (every 3 to 4 days) to check if you have the virus. If you test positive and self-isolate, it helps stop the virus spreading.

#CarersWeek - recognising carers
This week is Carers Week, and we recognise all the hard work many unpaid carers put in every day to look after their loved ones, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Community Support Services Team have a range of services which can help carers – whether it’s a 7 day Meals on Wheels service, our Dementia or Cobham Link sessions, or a 24-hour monitored Community Alarm we’re here to support residents and help give their carers peace of mind.
