An update on the COVID-19 vaccine programme in Surrey
NHS and partners are focusing on delivering care and co-ordinating the vaccine roll out. You have an important part to play to help with this:
- please don’t contact your GP practices, the wider NHS or any of the community venues that are hosting clinics to seek a vaccine, the NHS will contact you
- when you are contacted, please attend your booked appointments
Read the latest from Surrey Heartlands CCG to find out which local venues are providing vaccination services. More sites will be coming on stream shortly and there will soon be full coverage across the whole area.
Please see our website for further vaccine news, plus Government and NHS information and guidance.
 Act like you've got it
While the NHS faces overwhelming pressure, you are urged to stay at home. Outdoor exercise should be limited to once per day and you should not travel outside your local area. If you are going to a green space or park for exercise, social distancing is still important.
For more details, please see the Government guidance on exercising in a public outdoor place.
 Keep your distance while shopping
Remember you should only go to the supermarket for essential shopping. Face coverings should be worn in shops and social distancing is still essential.
The Surrey Strategic Coordination Group has written to supermarkets to urge them to do everything they can to help limit the spread of the virus.
Full details on the national lockdown are available at GOV.UK. You can also find the latest COVID-19 data and statistics on our website.
