 Christmas bubbles
Between 23 and 27 December you can form an exclusive Christmas bubble of up to three households. (Tier 3 restrictions apply outside of your bubble.)
See our website for ways to keep Christmas safer for ourselves, our family and friends this year.
 Christmas travel
To help keep everyone safe when travelling to meet with your Christmas bubble between 23 and 27 December:
- plan ahead, check your route before you travel and avoid busy routes
- avoid making unnecessary stops during your journey
- avoid sharing a car with people not in your household, Christmas or support bubble
More guidance is available on travel within the UK.
Garden waste service suspension
As the coronavirus pandemic is continuing to put pressure on waste and recycling services, collections of garden waste will be suspended from 28 December until 8 January. At a time when collections of rubbish, recycling and food waste are always busier than usual, this will enable us to focus on delivering those key services.
For more information, see Joint Waste Solutions.
