Pinewood pods provide a solution to homelessness
A former community hall in Whitehill & Bordon has been transformed into a safe haven for homeless people thanks to an innovative partnership between East Hampshire District Council, a housing manufacturer and a local charity.
Pinewood Village Hall has been fitted with 10 individual 'pods’ to serve as much-needed temporary accommodation for people without a home of their own.

Green Team announces its top 10 targets in our battle against climate change.
We are determined to reduce our carbon emissions and limit our impact on the environment. To help us achieve these goals we have set up a ‘Green Team’, a group of officers embedded across the council, and they will be working on a check list of ten top priorities.
