Creative East Devon Fund to reopen

We are thrilled to announce a new round of the Creative East Devon Fund for culture projects taking place between April 2026 and March 2027.

The fund is open to applications for grants of up to £3,000. 

Deadline: 9 March, 4pm. Please read the FAQs before applying. 

This scheme is funded through East Devon District Council. Funding is subject to ratification by East Devon District Council.

We Are All People of Power exhibition by Polly Meyrick

February Highlight

We Are All People of Power - drop in to Exmouth Library (3 - 26 February) for a month of free energy-related events designed to help you save money, stay warm and be more carbon-friendly: free exhibition and film screening on 26 February, plus information about funding & grants, renewable energy, green tariffs and community energy.

This exhibition was previously funded through the Creative East Devon Fund.

Website design essentials to boost engagement and conversion: 25 February, 10.00 - 11.00. Free one-hour webinar about website design with Andy Leitch, Tech Champion for Websites from Digital Culture Network. 

Introduction to Business Planning for East Devon VCSEs: 26 February, 10.00 - 1.00. Northleigh House, Marsh Barton, Exeter. Devon Communities Together will help Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations create a business plan.

The Big Creative UK Investment Summit: Cornwall & Devon at the National Maritime Museum Falmouth: Regional summit about the creative industries in Cornwall & Devon on 04.03.26

Become the First Ever Town of Culture - new opportunity to bid for a £3 million investment to tell your local town's story at a national level. Call Out for ACED Champions: we are recruiting a Library Champion and Creative Education Champion. ACED Champions are passionate supporters of the ACED Network, helping to raise awareness of ACED and the East Devon Cultural Strategy. Please contact aced@eastdevon.gov.uk to find out more.

Funding opportunities

Community Grant Fund: up to £10,000 for voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises providing support to the residents of East Devon. Deadline: 27.02.26

Association of Independent Museums (AIM): grants of £1,200 for small and medium museums for a Collections Care Audit. Deadline: 27.03.26

Fat Beehive Foundation: up to £2,500 for registered charities for websites and digital projects or improving digital accessibility. Deadline: 31.03.26

Design Generators: up to £200,000 for design-led interventions with arts and humanities methodologies to support the green transition. Deadline: 09.04.26
