THG has secured important loans from private collections by historic artists including: Euan Uglow, Patrick George, Patrick Symons and Myles Murphy. As well as internationally renowned artists Claude Rogers, Victor Pasmore and Sir William Coldstream, contemporaries of Thelma Hulbert.

Coinciding with Looking for Appearance - which features work by Euan Uglow - a new exhibition unveils at MK Gallery in Milton Keynes. Euan Uglow: An Arc from the Eye (14 February - 31 May) marks the first solo exhibition of Uglow’s work in a UK public institution for twenty years. It also includes work by his former tutors Coldstream, Pasmore and Rogers, mirroring similar works explored in Looking for Appearance.
