Exmouth Placemaking: Revised Plan Consultation

We are asking for your views on the final draft of the Exmouth Placemaking Plan (EPP).
This version reflects feedback from earlier consultation, officers, Members and partners.
You can say whether you agree or disagree with each action under the strategic objectives and leave comments.
Your input will help shape the final EPP for Exmouth.

The consultation closes at 11am on 16 December 2025.

Woodbury Parish Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 16 consultation

The draft Plan has been formally submitted to East Devon District Council as the Local Planning Authority. We are now inviting comments on the Plan under (Regulation 16) Submission Consultation. All comments received will be passed with the submitted documents for consideration by an independent examiner who will recommend whether the draft Plan should proceed to a community referendum.

The consultation runs from Wednesday 15 October to finish 9am 27 November 2025.

South East Devon Wildlife Visitor Survey

Have you recently visited the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve, Exe Estuary, Dawlish Warren, Dawlish Countryside Park, or Ridgetop Park? South East Devon Wildlife, which helps to protect these spaces, wants to hear about your experience!

Whether you’re a regular dog walker, cyclist, or first-time visitor, your input will help us protect and enhance these cherished landscapes for future generations. 

Complete the survey and share how you use and enjoy these spaces. Your feedback will inform decisions to improve access, protect wildlife, and elevate visitor experiences. 

The survey is a year round project.

Exmouth Beach Management Plan full consultation summary report released

We now have an update on the Exmouth Beach Management plan. The full consultation summary report is now available to view. A shorter version of the report was released in July, this newest report expands on the previous one including the principles to guide the Outline Business Case and the next steps for the management plan.

Pavement licensing consultation results are being analysed

Thank you to everyone that completed the consultation and shared their views. The consultation received 253 contributions. The results are being reviewed and will be presented at the Licensing & Enforcement Committee on 19 November for them to consider the findings. The full agenda for for the committee will be available by the link below on the 12 of November.

Phear park play area upgrades survey responses being evaluated

330 contributions were received for this survey and we’re reviewing what you told us in the survey. A survey summary report is currently being produced which will show the findings from your thoughts. The next stage after the report is released is for a procurement exercise to take place where we will invite and evaluate bids from suppliers to design, supply, and install new play equipment. This will ensure best value, compliance with regulations, and delivery of a safe, high-quality facility for the community.
