Win a Stuart Line Wildlife Cruise on the River Exe
During autumn and early winter the whole of the Exe Estuary welcomes thousands of migratory birds who come here to rest and feed on the eelgrass beds and mudflats. We can all support and protect this wildlife spectacle by giving the birds space and keeping out of the most vulnerable areas which are protected as Wildlife Refuges. As a thank you, our colleagues at South East Devon Wildlife are offering a competition to win a Stuartline Wildlife Cruise on the Exe Estuary, along with your own wildlife ID guides.

Exciting news from Devon Loves Dogs!
For those of you who’ve been part of the DLD community for a while, you’ll know that we’ve been keen to grow our walks, events and online offers. I’m delighted to announce that our team has grown and we’ve welcomed Trish and her gorgeous dogs Pierre and Gary to our pack. Trish started in August and some of you will have met her already at our Waggy Walks and events. Trish brings with her a whole array of experience in dog welfare, dog daycare, wildlife, social media and photography and we’re really excited to start putting some of her ideas into action.

Visitor Survey
From picnics on Dawlish Warren to dog walking adventures on the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve (NNR), these important nature reserves are special places for people and wildlife. South East Devon Wildlife, which works to protect these spaces, is eager to hear how you enjoy these areas, whether it’s your first visit or a regular outing.
Our survey asks about your visits, your awareness of our work and how you use wild spaces including the Pebblebed Heaths, Exe Estuary, Dawlish Countryside Park, Dawlish Warren and Ridgetop Park. Your responses will help inform decisions, improve access and protect these landscapes for future explorers.
Your input makes a difference – thank you.
