Dear Creative,
We are delighted to announce 11 new recipients of Round 3 of the Creative East Devon Fund supporting creative projects, workshops and festivals across East Devon in 2025/2026. All of these projects will further the aims of the East Devon Cultural Strategy, ensuring that East Devon's cultural offer is high quality, interesting, fun, relevant and accessible and that residents' health, happiness and wellbeing improve as a result.

We are excited to announce the new recipients of the Creative East Devon Fund: from oral history projects and storytelling sessions to discovery workshops and collaborative artworks promoting sustainability, creative writing workshops and spoken word performances to animation workshops.

Art That Made Us at Propeller, Exmouth: 7.30 - 9.30pm. 21.10 - 08.12.25. A series of eight linked evening classes led by John Astley, author and Sociologist of Culture. Each class will view an episode of the TV series: Art That Made Us followed by a discussion. Free, please register here.

Funding opportunities
CoSTAR Evolve programme offers six months of dedicated business support for 10 UK creative technology enterprises, including 1-2-1 mentorship (total in-kind support worth an estimated £10,000) and a £5,000 Enterprise Development Award. Deadline 28.10.25
Carbon Action Fund: grants of £2,000 to £20,000 to help East Devon community organisations to decarbonise, covering equipment such as solar PV, insulation and LED lighting. Deadline: 10.11.25
Shift the Scene Fund: grants of up to £200,000 to organisations who provide creative opportunities for disabled children and young people, pushing for genuine inclusion, ambition and accessibility. Deadline: 28.11.25.
The National Archives: Seed Corn grants of £500 to £5,000 to support community groups, Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) exploratory projects for community engagement with heritage. Deadline: 28.11.25
