Do you live in Cranbrook or Broadclyst and wish you could cross the railway safely?
Broadclyst and Cranbrook are vibrant local communities divided by the South West Main Line railway without a safe, car-free connection. The National Trust's Killerton team want to change that.
They are undertaking a feasibility project to show how creating a safe, accessible railway crossing between Cranbrook and Broadclyst could benefit both communities.
One third of households in England have green space within 1km of their homes. The Killerton team want to create a safer, greener, and better-connected future for everyone by:
- Opening up access to more green space for Cranbrook residents
- Expanding connections to rail and other local services for Broadclyst residents
- Improving active travel routes for all
The project is currently in the very early stages. It will take time before they can propose building anything, but they would love to hear your thoughts. Have your say by completing their survey.
