Creative East Devon Fund

A new round of the Creative East Devon Fund is now open for applications for grants of up to £3,000. 

31 East Devon projects have been funded so far from pop-up comedy to community radio, art workshops to accessible concerts and outdoor dance theatre to a film festival.

Projects need to take place between mid September 2025 and March 2026. Please read our FAQs.

The scheme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

A beginner's guide to Meta Ads led by Digital Culture Network: 2 July, 11-12 online. Learn what a Meta Ad is, where your ads can show, plus a step-by-step guide to setting up your ads. 

Museums Training:  Hazards in Collections, a National Heritage Lottery funded project, is looking for 48 museums to receive training and 1:1 support. Submit an expression of interest by 15 July.

Artist Call: Paid creative residencies for Devon & Cornwall artists. Plymouth Culture invites applications for three paid artist residencies, part of the Sea for Yourself programme  reconnecting Plymouth communities with the sea through creativity, storytelling and digital innovation. £4,500 artist budget and free creative studio space. Deadline: 07.07.25

Makers Call: THG invites submissions to their annual Christmas Craft selling exhibition: Present Makers 2025, a leading exhibition in the UK’s craft calendar. Deadline: 26.09.25

Survey of SW artists and art workers: Visual Arts South West wants to know what life is like for SW art workers and artists to understand your needs and challenges and collect facts about pay, jobs and funding for a public report. Deadline: 31.10.25

Calling East Devon Writers: the 2025 Exeter Novel Prize is now open for online applications. Open to all authors who are without representation by a literary agent. First prize: £1,000. Deadline: 01.01.26

Creative Foundations Fund: new grants of between £100,000 and £10 Million for not-for-profit creative and cultural organisations to improve and restore existing cultural buildings and equipment. Deadline: 25.07.25
