Play area upgrades across East Devon

Children across East Devon will get to enjoy 10 new play areas this year.

More than 100 pieces of equipment will be installed across the sites, including everything from ground-level trampolines and climbing frames to tunnels and roundabouts designed for wheelchair access.

The first five sites are due to be completed by the summer holidays, with some due to reopen earlier.

Find full details and a list of locations on our website.

Fly-tipped waste on the side of a country road

See the shocking reality of fly-tipping next week

We’re joining forces with local partners to shine a spotlight on the growing problem of fly-tipping – and you’re invited to see the issue up close.

Come along to Model Airfield Car Park, Woodbury on Monday 2 June 2025, from 10am to 12pm, where a realistic fly-tip installation will show the environmental and social damage caused by illegal dumping.

You’ll be able to speak with our team and learn how to report fly-tipping, dispose of waste legally, and play your part in protecting our beautiful landscape.
