Advancing our commitment to net zero through clean growth, we had the privilege last week to witness a pioneering demonstration at Exeter Airport. The event showcased the UK’s first-ever trial of a TUI Boeing 737 passenger aircraft turnaround using ground support equipment powered entirely by green hydrogen.
The Great South West Partnership has unveiled its full three-day Pavilion programme for UKREiiF 2025 (20-22 May), bringing the region’s leaders together to make the case for the South West on the national stage, and showcasing the region’s unrivalled investment opportunities to global investors, including the Exeter and East Devon Enterprise Zone.
The programme will also feature the launch of the 2025 Great South West Investment Prospectus, a compelling portfolio of market-ready opportunities across clean energy, defence, and the creative industries.
Sally Basker, CEO of Exeter Science Park, Event Partner, said: “We are pleased to be one of the Great South West’s partners at UKREiiF and look forward to the opportunities our attendance at this major event can offer. Exeter Science Park is contributing to the transformation of the economy of the South West by delivering high-value jobs, enhanced productivity and economic growth. It is approximately 25% complete, having grown five-fold since 2017, and is now actively seeking investors to complete the Park by 2035. This is a significant investment which equates to £150-£200 million, and attendance at UKREiiF is part of our strategic approach to securing this.”
