Business Grant Scheme set to return for fourth round
The Innovation and Resilience Fund (IRF) will soon reopen for a fourth round. IRF is a capital business grants scheme focused on business growth, improving productivity and creating aspirational employment opportunities in East Devon. Sign up to our webinar and Q&A session now to learn all the key details in a short and accessible session.
Eligible businesses can apply for up to £30,000 to purchase equipment or create new employment space to grow or diversify their operations. The fund is aimed at micro businesses and SMEs across the district, from tech-start ups at the Science Park to established rural businesses in the open countryside.
Previous projects include a farm diversification into rug making, conversion of an agricultural barn into a juice production facility, and purchase of precision manufacturing machines to bring production in house. Details of all successful recipients are available online to provide inspiration, demonstrate the range of projects supported, and show the flexibility of the fund.
All applicants must match fund at least 30% of the total project costs and all projects must be completed by the 28th February 2026. All eligibility criteria can be found in the IRF4 Policy.
Want the best chance of success? Come along to our webinar on Wednesday 7th May at 10-11am! In under an hour you will learn all about the fund, get tips on how to write a competitive application, and have the opportunity ask the IRF Team your questions.
