Now March is here, we are counting down the days until we reopen. The upstairs kitchen and toilets are finished. Our contractors are giving a final coat to the galleries, laying the carpet and installing new fire doors. We look forward to welcoming you back on 22 March!

Ashish Ghadiali: Sensing the Planet
22 March - 26 April 2025
Debut solo exhibition by filmmaker and environmental artist, Ashish Ghadiali. Sensing the Planet brings together a series of three recent film works. The exhibition explores racial justice as a prism for better understanding our planet in crisis.
Coordinating events:
Exhibition opening: Saturday 22 March, 3-5pm
Land, Art & Justice: Saturday 12 April, 11 - 5 including keynote presentation by eminent decolonial feminist scholar Françoise Vergès.
Egg Decorating Workshops: Tuesday 15 April
- 11am to 1pm – bookable session for ages 12+ ; £10. Use hot wax and natural dyes to create a beautiful decoration.
- 1.30pm - 3.30pm - free drop in session, suggested donation £3. Use a scratch technique to decorate your eggs. Open to all ages, please note sharp tools are involved.

Art UK has published a fascinating article by writer and curator, Alicia Foster giving insight into the life and work of Thelma Hulbert. THG preserves a collection of Thelma Hulbert artworks, which are shown alongside our contemporary exhibitions.
 Volunteers meet up
While the gallery is being refurbished we are keeping in regular contact with our fabulous volunteers at meet ups at the Beehive, Honiton. We can't wait to welcome them back on 22 March when we reopen the gallery.
