Have your say on the Exmouth Beach Management Plan Update
The Beach Management Plan (BMP) outlines how EDDC will sustainably manage coastal flooding and erosion risks to properties and assets along the Exmouth frontage. The BMP focuses on maintaining an adequate beach to support existing defence structures and ensuring these defences continue to protect Exmouth.
This is your opportunity to share your thoughts on the proposed options for the long-term future of these defences with the project team.
Consultation is live until Monday, 10 February 2025 at 5pm.

This is your chance to hear about the three proposed options for securing Exmouth seafront's long-term future from representatives of the Exmouth BMP project.

East Devon District Council (EDDC) has been preparing a 2025-2030 Housing Strategy.
As part of the process, we invited feedback on what could be included in the strategy. We have carefully reviewed all consultation responses. Following this work, a draft of the Strategy has been created.
We now welcome any additional comments or suggestions to ensure the strategy is as effective and comprehensive as possible. Your input will be carefully considered before the Strategy is finalised. The strategy can be viewed below:

We are gathering feedback from local residents and car park users regarding the current overnight parking arrangements in Maer Road car park and along Queen’s Drive Echelon for motorhomes. Additionally, we are seeking suggestions on how the overnight stop-over offer can be. Your input will help shape future decisions regarding the future of overnight parking arrangements in Exmouth. This consultation closes on the 13th of February at 5pm 2025
Treeconomics were appointed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to prepare a district-wide Tree, Hedge & Woodland Strategy.
As part of the process, we invited feedback on trees, woodlands, and hedges in the district and carefully reviewed all consultation responses to help inform and shape the plan and East Devon’s treescape. Following this work, a final draft of the Strategy has been created.
We now welcome any additional comments or suggestions to ensure the Strategy is as effective and comprehensive as possible. Your input will be carefully considered before the Strategy is finalised. The strategy can be viewed below:
