Exmouth Festival's new decarbonisation toolkit
Exmouth Festival’s recent decarbonisation project provides excellent learnings on how we can think about decarbonising events. Jess Magill and Zoey Cooper have created a useful toolkit, including a bespoke carbon calculator, to help event organisers lower the carbon footprint of their events.
Jess & Zoey will present their learnings at the East Devon Tourism Network Meeting at Jurassic Discovery, Seaton: 19 November, 9.30-12.00. Explore ways to blend the world of local arts and culture, East Devon’s rich geological heritage, and our outstanding leisure and tourism businesses. Register.

Arts Council England have launched the Culture and Place Data Explorer, a useful tool to access data about funding, population, demographics, tourism and the economy. Build a detailed picture of culture and creativity in a specific area, ideal for developing bids and reports.

The BFI National Lottery Discovery Feature Funding: The programme supports original live action and animation feature filmmaking by debut directors. Deadline: 06.12.24
The Linbury Trust: grants of up to £5,000 for small projects that make a big impact to a theatre’s resilience, sustainability, accessibility or improving the diversity of audiences. Deadline: 17.01.25.
Arts & Culture Impact Fund: Repayable finance to support UK Arts, Culture and Heritage organisations – the world’s biggest social impact investment fund for the creative arts is offering finance up to £1 million to socially driven arts, culture and heritage organisations. Deadline: rolling
Cultural Facilities Fund from Biffa: Grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 for projects based in a museum, arts or heritage centre, which aim to improve recreation, interest and education. Deadline: rolling.
