ACED Mentoring - last opportunity to apply!
FREE mentoring for 18- to 30-year-olds in the arts by experienced mentors from your creative sector. Apply now: mentee application form and return to aced@eastdevon.gov.uk. Deadline extended to 16.10.24.

ACED fundraising training
Corporate Sponsorship: 10 October, 11-1, online. New ACED training delivered by fundraising specialists Cause 4. Develop your skills to raise funds from corporates. Suitable for new fundraisers or those with little experience of corporate fundraising.
Individual Giving: 21 November, 10.30-1.30, The Beehive, Honiton. New ACED training delivered by fundraising specialists Cause 4. Unlock the Art of Making the Ask to connect with high-net-worth individuals and philanthropists to generate transformational gifts.
These training opportunities are funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Artist opportunities
Leeside Arts Commission: Arts & Culture University of Exeter seek two South West based creative practitioners (individuals, partnerships, or collectives) for two new Arts Commissions (Devon and Cornwall) exploring people’s values assigned to nature around protected sites. £40,000 per commission. Deadline: 21.10.24.
Libraries Unlimited are looking for innovative artists across all disciplines to work with the libraries' creative programme: April 2025 – March 2026. Offers of £250-£1,000. Deadline: 25.10.24.
Funding opportunities
Arts Award Access Fund: registered Arts Award centres can apply for a small grants of £100-£1,500 to help with the delivery of the scheme. Centres might be schools, community projects, libraries, arts centres, theatres. Deadline: 04.10.24.
The Golsoncott Foundation small grants programme. Arts organisations can apply for grants to deliver projects that demonstrate and deliver excellence in the arts. No maximum or minimum grant but maximum grant awarded in the past is £3,000. Deadline 31.10.24
Creative East Devon Fund: Reminder - round 2 is still open, apply now for projects taking place between January – September 2025. Deadline: 08.11.24
