Time running out to register to vote and to apply for a postal vote

On Thursday 4 July 2024, East Devon residents will elect their Member of Parliament for either the Exmouth and Exeter East constituency, or the Honiton and Sidmouth constituency

Don’t lose your opportunity to have your say, make sure you register to vote before the rapidly approaching deadline of 11.59pm on Tuesday 18 June 2024.

If you may find it difficult to visit a polling station on Election Day, apply for a postal vote before 5pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024. 


Do you have the right ID to vote?

No ID? Apply for free voter ID by 26 June

If you’re casting your vote at a polling station, you must bring an accepted form of photo ID, due to rules introduced by the UK Government. If you don’t have this, apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.
