New bike parking spaces ready-to-use in Exmouth
Councillor's Marianne Rixson, Olly Davey and Geoff Jung next to the new bike parking spaces on Exmouth seafront
The sites can be found by the RNLI Lifeboat Station on the seafront and in two locations in Phear Park.
By adding these new bike parking spaces, East Devon District Council (EDDC) aims to encourage active travel amongst residents, benefitting their health, wellbeing, and the environment.
Beer Cliff Top Car Park construction works
Works will begin at the Beer Cliff Top car park starting this coming Monday 25 March. The initial works will be drainage improvements for 3-4 weeks with surfacing works in the area following on.
The car park will remain open but there will be periods of reduced capacity. Over the Easter bank holiday the contractor will be off site, but their compound will remain.
East Devon VCSE Drop-in Support Surgery - Honiton
Drop-in session at the Beehive, Honiton on 18 April
If you are involved in running a voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation (or are thinking of doing so), Devon Communities Together who run our East Devon VCSE service is inviting you to pop along to its latest drop-in session at The Beehive on 18th April from 9.30-4.30.
It's a chance to talk through the challenges and goals of your organisation with an experienced and empathetic ear to listen. We all know how sometimes just getting out of your day-to-day and talking through a situation can shed new light on how to proceed.
