New grant opens soon & last chance to shape our strategy
Time is running out for you to have your say on our Economic Development Strategy.
East Devon District Council has developed a draft Strategy to help address core economic challenges and opportunities.
The business community of East Devon has been invited to provide feedback on the draft strategy via a short online survey till 10th March.
To shine a light on what this work means for your business, our economy and communities, the team has each created a LinkedIn blog on the five policies within the Strategy:
Pride & Prosperity - An Introduction to our Social Policy | LinkedIn
Sense and Sustainability | LinkedIn
Local Employment Matters | LinkedIn
Can a Strategy Keep Up? The Challenge of Adapting to a Rapidly Changing Economy | LinkedIn
The Art of working together, with pride & common sense | LinkedIn
We want to ensure that the strategy focuses on priorities that matter to you and your business. Please provide your feedback by Sunday, 10th March.
A new round of East Devon’s Innovation and Resilience Fund launches on Monday 8th April.
Grants of between £3,000 and £30,000 will be available to support transformational projects that will lead to increase in productivity or creation of high value jobs. A match commitment of 30% of the total project cost will be required.
To determine eligibility, please read the IRF3 Policy. Previous IRF grant recipients are eligible to apply again.
Applicants must complete an Expression of Interest online before being invited to submit a full application. The deadline for full bids is 4pm on Friday 24th May.
If you wish to discuss a project idea with the funders, there are two in-person drop-in sessions at the East Devon Business Centre in Honiton on Thursday 21st March.
You can sign up to a morning or an afternoon session.
