Cliff inspections and repairs in Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer

Photo of Sidmouth's Millennium Walk, with the cliff to the left and the sea to the right

In preparation for work to stabilise the wall and the cliff at Sidmouth's Connaught Gardens, the team are setting up the site today, installing anchors and scaffolding.

Following this week’s site set-up, the inspections and repairs are expected to be completed within five weeks (before the Easter holidays).

Whilst this work is undertaken, Millennium Walk will be closed, to keep visitors safe.

Next week, cliff inspections, and the removal of fallen materials, will also be taking place at Seaton West Walk on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 March, and in Beer (including Annis’ Knob), from Wednesday 6 until Friday 8 March.
