Two big announcements...
East Devon District Council is developing a new, five-year Economic Development Strategy (EDS) for East Devon that will help to address our core economic challenges.
We are seeking feedback from our business community, stakeholders, and organisations on the first draft of the Strategy.
We are holding a district wide consultation between the 19 February 2024 and 10 March 2024 via an online survey.
This is your chance to help shape our Strategy and tell us what critical challenges you are facing and which actions you feel we need to prioritise.
2. A new round of business grant funding to go live in April 2024
We are pleased to announce the third round of East Devon's Innovation and Resilience Fund (IRF3) which is due to go live for expressions of interest in April 2024.
Businesses can apply for between £3,000 and £30,000 to fund a transformational project which will lead to the creation of high value jobs or an increase in productivity. Applicants will need to match-fund at least 30% of the total project cost.
Businesses with an idea for a funding bid can come along to one of two drop-in sessions to discuss their idea with an EDDC officer in the Economic Development team:
Both sessions will be held at the East Devon Business Centre, Honiton, EX14 1SF.
