Do you agree with our four key priorities? Is there anything crucial we are missing?

Preventing Homelessness and Rough Sleeper Strategy 2023-2028

Homelessness and Rough Sleeper Strategy consultation

We want to hear what you think about our plans for the future of homelessness and rough sleeping in East Devon.

We’ve been working really hard to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping in our district for a number of years, and it continues to be a high priority for us.

There is still more work to do however. A lack of affordable housing, the cost of living crisis and potential loss of valuable support services are just some of the challenges we face.

To meet these challenges we are developing our new Preventing Homelessness and Rough Sleeper Strategy. As a starting point, we’ve held a series of focus groups with staff and local partners and are now looking for your input to help shape the strategy.

What do you think about our strategy? Let us know in our consultation before it closes on Tuesday 9 January 2024.

Cemetery Regulations consultation

Cemeteries Regulations consultation

If you are a residentelected memberbusiness or trade group in East Devon, we're after your views on the future of cemeteries in the District.

East Devon District Council provides and manages three cemeteries in Seaton, Sidbury and Sidmouth. Historically each cemetery had its own regulations and all three cemeteries have been extended in recent years.

It is now intended that a single set of regulations will apply to all three cemeteries.

What do you think about this? Join others in sharing your thoughts.

The consultation will close on Monday 22 January 2024.
