As a flying start to the year, ACED is delighted to confirm new funding for 14 arts projects through the Creative East Devon Fund. Other news:

Creative East Devon funds awarded

The new Creative East Devon fund has awarded £31,869 to 14 inspiring arts and culture projects across East Devon.

Look out for the next funding round which opens in April.

Calling Mentors and Mentees

- The new ACED Mentoring Programme will enable young people aged 18 – 30 in East Devon to learn from ACED's community of experienced creative professionals.
- Register your interest now as a mentor or mentee.

Introduction to application writing for creative activities, projects and organisations.

Online session for those new to bid writing for arts & culture or those wanting a refresher. Suitable for both individuals and arts organisations.

  • Delivered by trainer Cathy Towers, using play and games to explore different elements of public speaking. Hone your skills standing on stage to presenting a talk, interviews on radio/TV to speaking at a meetings/networks.


These ACED training opportunities are funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Funding Opportunities

  • Community Library Support Fund aims to create or enhance community libraries. Grants of £100 - £300 for components inc shelving, seating, books and lighting. Deadline 31.03.24 or sooner if funding spent.

  • The Linbury Trust Small Grants Programme - grants of up to £5,000 for not-for-profit theatres towards projects to improve accessibility, sustainability and viability. Deadline 12.01.24. 
  • Creative Catalyst 2024. Micro/small businesses in the creative industries can apply for funding up to £50,000 with a package of tailored support to grow their business.

  • Choosing a paid advertising platform: Google, Meta & TikTok ads overview.  22.02.24, 2pm. Learn which advertising platform is best for growth and understand main differences between Google/Facebook/TikTok Ads. Register

  • Grow your digital content skills with Google. 17.04.24, 10.00-4.30 Exeter 
    Opportunity for cultural organisations and individuals to learn the fundamentals of using digital content to widen their audience and reach their goals. Free in-person training with Google Arts & Culture and Google Digital Garage. Register
