The expression of interest (EoI) stage for the IRF2 scheme is now open for applications!
East Devon businesses are invited to apply for up to £20,000 to fund a project under one of the three funding pathways:

Net Zero Innovation: to support a business to develop a new product, service or technology with a strong net zero focus

Rural Innovation: to support a rural business to grow by significantly increasing productivity or by developing a new product, service or technology

Farm Diversification: to allow a farm business to diversify income streams by developing a new product, service or technology not related to agriculture
The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is 19 May 2023. Applicants who are successful at this stage will be invited to submit a full bid application by 9 June 2023.
Potential applicants are encouraged to read the IRF2 Policy & Guidance before applying to check eligibility and understand the priorities of the fund.

Community organisations will be able to apply for up to £20,000 of funding towards the cost of purchasing equipment to help decarbonise their operation, such as solar PV panels, air sourced heat pumps, EV charging points, etc.
Tourism businesses will be able to apply for up to £5,000 to help fund either equipment to decarbonise or equipment to improve the accessibility of their business.
We aim to launch the CLTF in early June with a 6-week application window and a single stage application process.
Subscribers to this newsletter will be notified as soon as the CLTF scheme is launched.

A three part programme will give organisations an understanding of what climate change is, the scale of its effects and how cultural organisations fit into the global, national and local picture.
Arts & Culture East Devon is providing free training in good practice in volunteer recruitment, where organisations will developed understanding and strategies for successfully bringing new volunteers on board to support their work.
Organisations will find out how to overcome barriers that prospective volunteers may experience, how to recruit, select and offer effective induction to new volunteers.
Taking England to the World is a training programme which aims to help businesses reach new customers and grow their revenue. Visit England now offers opportunity to sign up for free training on how to take your business overseas.
With content covering all aspects of getting ready to work with the travel trade to attract new customers, this training course will offer an overview of the key markets to England - providing information on insights and research, marketing, product development, distribution and partnerships.
