More than 250,000kg of CO2 will be removed from the atmosphere each year once this woodland is established.

Establishing wildflower meadows is one of the ways that we support nature recovery
Did you know that UK gardens cover a larger area than all the protected landscapes combined? Whether you have half an acre or just room for a few pots, we can all do our bit for the environment.
The first action you can take this weekend is to create a log pile for wildlife. Dead wood is an important part of any eco system and you can replicate this on a small scale in your own garden. It will help attract a different variety of beneficial insects and bugs.

Stroke symptoms: act F.A.S.T.
If someone shows even one of these symptoms of stroke, get medical assistance
The NHS has launched a campaign to increase public awareness of the signs of stroke after new findings show one in five people are not confident they could recognise the typical signs.
Around 100,000 people have a stroke each year in England, Scotland and Wales, which is approximately one stroke every five minutes, with around 33,000 stroke-related deaths in 2021. Early recognition of stroke symptoms can give patients extra precious minutes, enabling faster access to specialist treatment and increasing the chances of a better outcome.
