Fantastic new dog walking park near Exminster
We all love finding a new place for our dogs to explore and so we're excited to introduce Ridgetop Park. The park has been lovingly created by the Ranger team at Teignbridge District Council, so as well as all the essentials like dog bins and maps you'll also find a whole host of carved wooden sculptures, benches for star gazing and fascinating local information. The park is already a firm favourite with my dog Maisie as there are plenty of paths to explore, wide open spaces for running and sniffing and no traffic or livestock to worry about. At the moment one small car park is open and there will be more in the future. Why not join us on a Waggy Walk to find out all about it?

Paws On Paths
At this time of year many birds are making nests and preparing for the breeding season. All across the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve birds such as Dartford Warbler and Nightjar are busy in amongst the gorse and heather. We can all help these birds, eggs and chicks to survive by keeping to the wide paths and tracks and following the Pebblebed Dog Code. Remember Paws on Paths please.

Spring Waggy Walks
If you haven't joined us on a Waggy Walk before have a look at our Events page to find a walk near you. We walk throughout the year with lots of different land owners in a variety of locations. All walks are free and everyone is welcome, but you will need to book a place on our website. Walks are at a relaxed pace with time to chat and find out more about the place where we're walking while our dogs sniff and explore.
