ACED Network meeting in Exmouth

ACED meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended our network meeting yesterday.

Highlights were: introduction from ACED's new Cultural Producer Sarah Elghady, Clyst Valley Regional Park culture recap,  ACED Champion updates and break out networking sessions discussing training needs.

Six free online sessions of practical, jargon-free audience development and marketing training -  top tips, practical suggestions, break-out sessions and networking opportunities. 

Delivered by Flying Geese Consultants. Suitable for both East Devon culture organisations and individual creators.

New what's on guide for East Devon culture events

The newly-formed East Devon Tourism Network will feature a free What's On listing guide of events across East Devon to attract visitors to the region.

For a free listing, send details to Jane Rayner: tourismnetwork@eastdevonexcellence.co.uk

Please include include dates, times, location, a brief description of the event (no more than 200 words), a link for more information & how to book tickets, and a jpg image (at least 1200 pixels wide) pref. no larger than 225KB.

Grant opportunities

  • The Community Ownership Fund next application window is now open! The fund helps to ensure important parts of the social fabric inc. theatres and cultural spaces can continue to play a central role in UK towns and villages. 

Application Guidance 

  • *Reminder* Culture, Leisure and Tourism Fund. East Devon District Council is launching a new grant scheme to help decarbonise businesses and community organisations. Eligible types of equipment will include, but are not limited to: solar panels, air source heat pumps, EV charging points and LED lighting for culture venues.
