    *New* ACED Fundraising workshop

    Essentials in Fundraising
    Monday 20 February: 10.00-2.00
    The Beehive, Honiton

    This workshop will support you to develop skills in raising funds for your work. It covers research and planning, key fundraising skills and information about launching successful fundraising campaigns. It’s a one stop fundraising shop: teaching you new skills and sharpening old ones. 

    You will learn:

    • The importance of an effective fundraising Case for Support.
    • Different kinds of fundraising streams, from Trusts and Foundations, individuals, corporates and statutory income.
    • Where to best focus your time to get the most effective fundraising return for your organisation.
    • How to undertake effective fundraising research.
    • Effective techniques to support application writing.
    • The key areas common funders are interested in and trends

    This ACED training will be delivered by David Johnson at Cause4. 25 places available so book early!

    Grant opportunities

    NFU Mutual Charitable Trust The NFU Mutual Charitable Trust provides funding for projects and initiatives which advance the education of young people within rural areas and promote the benefit and social welfare of inhabitants of rural communities by associating together with the inhabitants and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations to advance education and leisure. Deadline: 26.05.23

    British Ecological Society: Outreach Grants Grants up to £2,000 are available to individuals and organisations to organise ecological public engagement events. This includes, but is not limited to researchers, schools, museums, libraries and community groups. Deadline: 15.03.23

    New Start Devon: 12 hours' free support available for businesses, community projects, community buildings and individuals to develop an idea into an income-generating enterprise.

    Artist Needs' Survey: Artists' Benevolent Fund is undertaking a review to explore different ways to support those working in contemporary visual & applied arts & experiencing economic, social & other barriers in order to help them fulfill their creative potential.
